Peter Tyler (Gloucestershire. UK) built this Wildcat Rover V8 engine in his Ex-Works TR8.

A pair of downdraught manifolds
Four Dellorto 48mm twin choke carburettors
Stage 2 Heads with 49.53mm & 40.13mm (1.95″ & 1.58″) valves and Jesel roller rockers.
96mm forged pistons, H-beam conrods, 86.36mm steel forged crankshaft
3.9 Rover V8 engine block with bespoke cross-bolted aluminium billet main bearing caps
Crane 266 mechanical camshaft
Ignition Crane HI-7
Power 443 hp @ 6800 rpm
Torque 367 lbs @ 6100 lbs-ft
5 litres = 96mm bore x 86.36mm stroke = 5001cc
