This is the second Wildcat Engineering Rover V8 built by Carl Hansen, the first being a 4.8-litre. In the search for more power, Carl built a 5.8-litre Rover engine with the following Wildcat Engineering parts:

Vertical throttle bodies

Stage 2 Heads with shaft mounted T&D adjustable roller rockers

4-inch bore reinforced cross-bolted Yellow engine block

88.9mm stroke steel forged crankshaft

J.E. forged pistons, 6″ Carrillo H-beam conrods and roller camshaft

5.8 litres = 101.6mm x 88.9mm = 5766cc

(352ci = 4″ bore x 3.5″ stroke)
